5 things the Samsung Dex lacks to be a good desktop replacement?
Samsung started convergence with Linux on Dex and continues with an enlarged One UI for Desktop!
The idea behind the Samsung Dex was initially more attractive than now for me when, about four years ago, Samsung announced it with Linux on Dex feature. Having Android in two modes (mobile and desktop) besides Linux was one of my dreams. However, Samsung decided to discontinue Linux on Dex and only continue the Dex project with One UI in two modes (mobile and desktop). I don’t want to write about the Linux on Dex in this story, but I remember My dream had come true, and I even installed IntelliJ on it when I had a Galaxy Note 9.
