At the time, I was working with a Mac mini m1 (owned by an employer) and had a lot of trouble running some Docker containers like Kafka, even installing the JDK (of course, SDKMan added support very soon). I also recently heard from a friend about virtualization issues. Of course, almost all of them have been solved or will be solved, but as I said, at that time (until now), I preferred to listen to my Intel Macbook fan song but get my work done! But I'm sure everything will change.
